Rudra Schultz-Ray is a NYC based ceramics artist with a formal training in history. He has had works displayed at Allegheny Art Galleries. He received a formal education in both history and studio Art at Allegheny College. Much of his current work tries to bridge the gap between history and art by leveraging his skill sets in both fields, and the significant overlap ceramic provides. He also explore how both of the previously mentioned fields interacts with his culture as an Indian American, and the relationship he has with the vessels we eat from. Rudra intends to continue his education further, and pursue an MA/PhD in Archaeological studies.
